I-76, U.S. 1 Overnight Lane Closures Scheduled Next Week for ITS Installation in Philadelphia and Bucks Counties

​King of Prussia, PA – Lane closures are scheduled on Interstate 76 and U.S. 1 in Philadelphia and Bucks counties on Monday May 13, through Friday, May 17, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM for Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) installation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work locations include:

• Westbound I-76 between the Girard Avenue and 30th Street interchanges in Philadelphia;
• Southbound U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Expressway) between Germantown Avenue and Wissahickon Avenue in Philadelphia;
• Southbound U.S. 1 between Pennsylvania Avenue and U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) in Falls Township, Bucks County; and
• Southbound U.S. 1 between Lincoln Highway and Rockhill Drive in Bensalem Township, Bucks County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling on through the work areas because slowdowns will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
