U.S. 202 North Ramp to I-76 West to Close Thursday Night for Roadway Repair in Upper Merion Township

King of Prussia, PA – The ramp from northbound U.S. 202 to westbound Interstate 76 will be closed in Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County, on Thursday, May 9, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning for roadway repair, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today. During the closure, motorists will be directed to continue north on U.S. 202, turn right on South Gulph Road and follow signs to I-76 West.

In addition, I-76 motorists will encounter periodic single lane closures in both directions between the U.S. 202 and Interstate 476 interchanges on Thursday, May 9, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, and Friday, May 10, and Saturday, May 11, from 9:00 PM to 10:00 AM the following morning for roadway repair.

Motorists are advised to use an alternate route or allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
