I-676 East Lane Closures Next Week for Overhead Sign Inspections in Philadelphia
King of Prussia, PA – Lane closures are scheduled on eastbound Interstate 676 next week, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for overhead sign inspections, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
- Monday, January 6, between Interstate 76 and Interstate 95 interchanges; and
- Tuesday, January 7 and Wednesday, January 8, between 16th Street and 8th Street interchanges.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
The inspections are part of PennDOT's program to ensure the safety and overall condition of their bridges and other structures.
