PennDOT - District 6 News: U.S. 30 Bypass, Route 10 Restricted Next Week for Spray Patching in Chester County

U.S. 30 Bypass, Route 10 Restricted Next Week for Spray Patching in Chester County

King of Prussia, PA – The U.S. 30 Bypass (Coatesville Downingtown Bypass) and Route 10 (Octorara Trail) will be restricted next week in Chester County for spray patching operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

  • Monday, January 6, and Tuesday, January 7, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, an intermittent lane closure will be in place on eastbound and westbound U.S. 30 Bypass (Coatesville Downingtown Bypass) from Reeceville Road to the Lancaster County line in Caln, Valley, West Caln, Sadsbury and West Sadsbury townships and the City of Coatesville; and
  • Tuesday, January 7, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure with flagging will be in place on Route 10 (Octorara Trail) between U.S. 30 (Lincoln Highway) and Beaver Dam Road in West Sadsbury and West Caln townships.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and slowdowns will occur. All scheduled activities are weather permitting.
