I-95 North Double Lane Closure Friday Night for Expansion Dam Repair in Philadelphia

King of Prussia, PA — Northbound Interstate 95 will be reduced from four lanes-to-two between the Interstate 676 and Girard Avenue interchanges in Philadelphia on Friday, January 10, from 8:00 PM to 10:00 AM the following morning for expansion dam repair, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time for travel through the work area as backups will occur. All scheduled activities are weather permitting.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles, including color-coded winter conditions on 2,900 miles, by visiting www.511PA.com or downloading the 511PA application for iPhone and Android devices. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 950 traffic cameras.
