I-95 South Among Several State Highways Restricted Next Week for Tree Trimming Operations in Philadelphia and Bucks Counties

King of Prussia, PA – Lane restrictions are scheduled on several state highways in Bucks and Philadelphia counties next week, including Interstate 95, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for tree trimming operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

  • Monday, January 27 and Tuesday, January 28, lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Allentown Road between Schukraft Road and Butter Creek Road in West Rockhilll Township, Bucks County;
  • Monday, January 27, through Friday, January 31, a left lane closure is scheduled on southbound I-95 between Penrose Avenue and Essington Park interchanges in Philadelphia; and
  • Wednesday, January 29, through Friday, January 31, lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Route 32 (River Road) between Point Pleasant Pike and Bridge One Lane in Tinicum Township, Bucks County.
     
    Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent and subject to change.
