U.S. 1, U.S. 422 Lane Closures Next Week for Guide Rail Repair in Bucks, Chester and Philadelphia Counties

​King of Prussia, PA – Lane closures are scheduled on U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard/Lincoln Highway) and U.S. 422 next week in Bucks, Chester and Philadelphia counties, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for guide rail and attenuator repairs, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, January 13 and Tuesday, January 14, on southbound U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard) between Interstate 76 and Fox Street interchanges in Philadelphia;
• Monday, January 13 and Tuesday, January 14, on northbound U.S. 1 (Lincoln Highway) between Route 213(Old Lincoln Highway) and Interstate 95 in Middletown Township, Bucks County; and
• Monday, January 13, through Friday, January 17, on westbound U.S. 422 between Keim Street and Hanover Street interchanges in North Coventry Township, Chester County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because slowdowns will occur. The schedule is weather dependent.
