PECO to Restrict Several State Highways Next Week for Utility Improvements in Bucks, Montgomery and Philadelphia Counties

King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning single lane closures on several state highways in Bucks, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties on Monday, January 6, through Friday, January 10, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM for utility construction, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work locations are:

Bucks County

  • Route 413 (Durham Road) at Upper Mountain Road in Buckingham Township.

Montgomery County

  • Route 29 (Collegeville Road) at Perkiomen Boulevard in Upper Providence Township; and
  • Route 463 (Cowpath Road) between Dain Avenue and Vine Street in Hatfield Township.

Philadelphia

  • Northbound U.S. 1 (City Avenue) at Cardinal Avenue; and
  • U.S. 30 (Girard Avenue) between 38th Street and Interstate 76.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit. For a list of all utility work and other construction projects impacting state-owned highways in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties, visit www.penndot.gov/district6trafficbulletin.
