BCWSA to Close Bristol Road for Emergency Water Main Repair

Bristol Road will be closed between Acorn Road and Magee Avenue in Lower
Southampton and Middletown townships, Bucks County, on Wednesday, May 18,
and
Thursday, May 19, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM for emergency water main repair
by
the Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority (BCWSA), the Pennsylvania
Department
of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced.

During the operation, Bristol Road through traffic will be detoured over
Brownsville Road, Route 132 (Street Road) and Route 213 (Bridgetown Pike).
Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. Motorists are
advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area.

BCWSA will complete the repairs under a PennDOT emergency highway occupancy

permit.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by
visiting

traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and
