Weekday Lane Restrictions Scheduled on Route 452 (Pennell Road) in
Middletown Township, Delaware County

Weekday lane restrictions are scheduled on Route 452 (Pennell Road) between

Paramount Road and Glendale Boulevard in Middletown Township, Delaware
County,
beginning Wednesday, June 1, for bridge construction, the Pennsylvania
Department of Transportation (PennDOT) said today.

The weekday lane restrictions will be in effect Mondays through Thursdays
from
9:00 AM to 3:00 PM through the end of June. The contractor will work
Fridays
from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM if there are weather delays. Traffic will be
controlled
by flagging.

The work is part of a $6.6 million improvement project by Delaware County
to
construct a multi-use pedestrian trail with roadway crossings along the
Chester
Creek Pedestrian Trail in Aston and Middletown townships. The project is
scheduled to be completed in late fall 2016.

J.D. Eckman, Inc. of Atglen, Chester County, is the general contractor on
the
project which is financed with 100 percent federal funds.
