Nighttime Travel Restrictions Scheduled on I-76 and I-476

5/13/2016-KING OF PRUSSIA

Nighttime travel restrictions are scheduled on Interstate 76 east and
Interstate 476 south in Montgomery and Delaware counties, for bridge deck
and
expansion joint repairs, respectively, the Pennsylvania Department of
Transportation (PennDOT) said today.

The weather-dependent work schedule is:

• Sunday, May 15, through Thursday, May 19, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM, one
lane
will be closed on I-76 east at the Interstate 476 interchange in West
Conshohocken Borough, Montgomery County; and
• Tuesday, May 17, through Tuesday, May 24, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM, one
lane
will be closed on the I-476 south ramp to Interstate 95 north in Ridley
Township, Delaware County.

I-76 and I-476 motorists are advised to allow additional time for travel
during
these overnight operations.

Eastern Highway Specialists, Inc. of Wilmington, Del. is the general
contractor
that will perform the work. The operations are part of a $1.4 million
contract
to repair bridge decks and seal joints to preserve and maintain structures
in
the Philadelphia region.
