Route 23 Reopened in Upper Merion Township Following Pavement Repairs

5/7/2016-KING OF PRUSSIA

Route 23 (Schuylkill River Road) reopened to traffic this afternoon between
B
Street and McCoys Lane in Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County,
following
pavement repairs resulting from an underground sinkhole, the Pennsylvania
Department of Transportation said today.

The road was closed Friday afternoon, May 6, and traffic was detoured
around
the construction area.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by
visiting
www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides
traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and
access
to more than 770 traffic cameras.
