Aqua Pennsylvania to Close Wallingford Avenue in Delaware County for Water
Main Installation

Aqua Pennsylvania is scheduled to close Wallingford Avenue weekdays between

Manchester Avenue and Providence Road in Nether Providence and Upper
Providence
townships and Media Borough, Delaware County, on Wednesday, April 12,
through
Friday, April 21, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for water main installation, the

Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

During construction, Wallingford Avenue motorists will be detoured over
Manchester Avenue, U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) and Route 252 (Providence Road).

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through this area.
The
work schedule is dependent on the weather.

Aqua Pennsylvania will complete this improvement project under a PennDOT
Highway Occupancy Permit.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by
visiting
