Aqua Pennsylvania to Restrict Several State Highways Next Week in the
Philadelphia Region

Aqua Pennsylvania is planning travel restrictions next week on several
state
highways in Delaware, Montgomery and Chester counties, for water main
installations and resurfacing operations, the Pennsylvania Department of
Transportation (PennDOT) today announced.

Weather permitting, the work schedule is:

• Monday, May 1, and Tuesday, May 2, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions
are scheduled on Earlington Road at Strathmore Road in Haverford Township,
Delaware County, for water main installation. Traffic will be controlled by

flagging;
• Monday, May 1, through Friday, May 5, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions are scheduled on Oak Avenue at the intersections of Willow
Avenue,
Hawthorne Avenue and Jeffrey Road in Upper Darby Township and Aldan
Borough,
Delaware County, for water main installation. Traffic will be controlled by

flagging;
• Monday, May 1, through Friday, May 5, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a single
lane
closure is scheduled on Route 23 (Valley Forge Park Road) between County
Line
Road and South Trooper Road in Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County,
for
base repair, milling and paving operations; and
• Monday, May 1, through Friday, May 5, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions are scheduled on Sugartown Road at Black Swan Lane in Easttown

Township, Chester County, for water main installation.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work

areas.

Aqua Pennsylvania will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway
Occupancy Permit.
