Travel Restrictions Scheduled on Several State Highways for Maintenance
Operations in the Philadelphia Region

Travel restrictions are scheduled on several state highways in the
Philadelphia
region, for maintenance operations, the Pennsylvania Department of
Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Saturday, April 22, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, intermittent lane
restrictions
are scheduled on northbound and southbound Interstate 476 between the
Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-276) and County Line Road in West Conshohocken
Borough
and Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County, for pavement patching;
• Saturday, April 22, and Saturday, April 29, from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the
right lane is scheduled to close on the George C. Platt Memorial Bridge
(Route
291/Penrose Avenue) in Philadelphia, for bridge inspection and roadwork;
• Monday, April 24, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, intermittent lane closures are

scheduled on southbound Interstate 95 from the Philadelphia city line to
the
Delaware state line in Delaware County, for pavement patching;
• Monday, April 24, through Friday, April 28, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane

restrictions are scheduled on northbound I-476 between Route 3 (West
Chester
Pike) and U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) in Marple, Haverford and Radnor
townships,
Delaware County, for crack sealing;
• Monday, April 24, through Friday, April 28, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
intermittent lane closures are scheduled on eastbound and westbound U.S. 30

Bypass between Route 10 (Octorara Trail) and U.S. 202 in Sadsbury, Valley,
West
Brandywine, Caln, East Caln and West Whiteland townships, Chester County,
for
sweeping, debris removal and inlet clearing operations;
• Monday, April 24, through Friday, April 28, from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, lane

closures are scheduled on Westtown Thornbury Road between Echo Hill Road
and
Meadowcroft Road in Westtown Township, Chester County, for pipe
replacement.
Traffic will be controlled by flagging;
• Tuesday, April 25, from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM, intermittent lane closures
are
scheduled on eastbound and westbound Route 842 (Unionville-Wawaset Road)
between South Creek Road and Red Lion Road in Pocopson Township, Chester
County, for pavement patching;
• Tuesday, April 25, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, intermittent lane closures
are
scheduled on northbound I-95 from the Delaware state line to the
Philadelphia
city line in Delaware County, for pavement patching; and
• Wednesday, April 26, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, intermittent lane closures
are
scheduled on U.S. 322 (Conchester Highway) between U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike)
and
I-95 in Concord, Bethel and Upper Chichester townships, Delaware County,
for
pavement patching.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas.
All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
