Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week on Several State Highways for
Maintenance Operations in the Philadelphia Region

Travel restrictions are scheduled next week on several state highways in
the
Philadelphia region, for brushing, tree and trash removal operations, the
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule, which is weather dependent, is:

• Monday, April 10, and Tuesday, April 11, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions are scheduled on West End Boulevard at Green Top Road in West
Rockhill Township, Bucks County, for tree removal operations. Traffic will
be
controlled by flagging;

• Monday, April 10, through Friday, April 14, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane

restrictions are scheduled in both directions on U.S. 202 at Paoli Pike in
West
Goshen Township, Chester County, for brushing. Traffic will be controlled
by
flagging;

• Monday, April 10, through Friday, April 14, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane

restrictions are scheduled on Route 23 (Valley Forge Road) between Geerdes
Boulevard and Moore Road in Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County, for
tree
removal operations. Traffic will be controlled by flagging;

• Tuesday, April 11, through Thursday, April 13, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
intermittent left lane closures are scheduled on westbound U.S. 422 between
the
Route 363 (Trooper Road) and Township Line Road interchanges in Lower
Providence and Upper Providence townships, Montgomery County, for trash
removal
operations;

• Wednesday, April 12, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are
scheduled
on Aquetong Road at Sawmill Road in Solebury Township, Bucks County, for
tree
removal operations. Traffic will be controlled by flagging;

• Wednesday, April 12, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are
scheduled
on eastbound and westbound U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) between Chamounix
Road
and Pembroke Avenue in Radnor Township, Delaware County, for tree removal
operations; and

• Thursday, April 13, and Friday, April 14, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions are scheduled on northbound U.S. 202 at Cranberry Road in
Buckingham Township, Bucks County, for tree removal operations. Traffic
will be
controlled by flagging.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work

zones.
