I-95 North Nighttime Lane Closures Next Week for Barrier Removal in
Philadelphia

Motorists using northbound Interstate 95 will encounter travel restrictions
at
night next week for construction near Philadelphia International Airport,
the
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
• Monday, April 24, and Tuesday, April 25, from 9:00 PM to 12:00 AM, one
lane
will close on northbound I-95 between the Bartram Avenue/Route 291 and
Philadelphia International Airport interchanges for removal of construction

barrier. A second northbound lane may close between 12:01 AM and 5:00 AM.

The work near the Philadelphia International Airport is part of PennDOT's
initiative to update Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) equipment on
I-95
and other regional highways.

All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
