PA Turnpike to Restrict Germantown Pike and Route 611 (Easton Road) for
Maintenance Operations in Montgomery County

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission is planning to restrict Germantown
Pike
and Easton Road in Plymouth and Upper Moreland townships, Montgomery County
next week, for line striping and barrier installation, the Pennsylvania
Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced.
The work schedule is:
• Tuesday, August 22, and Wednesday, August 23, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
and
again from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, lane closures are scheduled on Germantown
Pike
between Plymouth Road and Launfall Road, in Plymouth Township; and
• Wednesday, August 23, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and again from 6:00 PM to
6:00
AM, lane closures are scheduled on Route 611 (Easton Road) between Home
Depot
Drive and Mill Road in Upper Moreland Township.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the areas.
All
scheduled activities are weather dependent.
The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission will complete the work under a PennDOT
Highway Occupancy Permit.
