Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week on Several State Highways for
Maintenance Operations in the Philadelphia Region

King of Prussia, PA – Travel restrictions are scheduled next week on
several
state highways in Montgomery, Chester and Bucks counties for maintenance
operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT)
announced
today.

The work schedule is:

• Sunday, August 13, from 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM, Crooked Lane is scheduled to
close between Yerkes Road and Gulph Road in Upper Merion Township,
Montgomery
County, for base repair. During construction, Crooked Lane motorists will
be
detoured over Church Road, Flint Hill Road and Route 320 (Swedeland Road);
• Monday, August 14, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Swamp Creek Road is scheduled
to
close between White Mills Road and Knuckles Road in Marlborough Township,
Montgomery County, for pipe replacement. During construction, Swamp Creek
Road
motorists will be detoured over White Mills Road, Hill Road and Knuckles
Road;
• Monday, August 14, through Thursday, August 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
lane
closures are scheduled on U.S. 422 between Egypt Road and Route 363
(Trooper
Road) in Upper Providence and Lower Providence townships, Montgomery
County,
for concrete patching;
• Monday, August 14, through Friday, August 18, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM,
lane
closures are scheduled on Pughtown Road between Sheeder Mill Road and
Bethel
Road in East Vincent Township, Chester County, for patching work;
• Tuesday, August 15, from 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM, Stump Hall Road is scheduled
to
close between Route 363 (Valley Forge Road) and Hollow Road in Worcester
Township, Montgomery County, for base repair. During construction, Stump
Hall
Road motorists will be detoured over Route 363 (Valley Forge Road), Heebner

Road and Hollow Road;
• Wednesday, August 16, and Thursday, August 17, from 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM,
Gilbertsville Road is scheduled to close between Grosser Road/Thrush Drive
and
Farmington Avenue in Douglass and Upper Pottsgrove townships, Montgomery
County, for base repair. During construction, Gilbertsville Road motorists
will
be detoured over Grosser Road and Route 100;
• Wednesday, August 16, and Thursday, August 17, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
Route
563 (Ridge Road) is scheduled to close between Route 313 (Dublin Pike) and
Old
Bethlehem Road in East Rockhill Township, Bucks County, for pipe
replacement.
During construction, Route 563 (Ridge Road) motorists will be detoured over

Route 313 (Dublin Pike) and Old Bethlehem Road;
• Thursday, August 17, and Friday, August 18, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane

restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Route 926 (Street Road) between

U.S. 202 and Creek Road in Westtown and Birmingham townships, Chester
County,
for crack sealing; and
• Friday, August 18, from 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM, Bleim Road is scheduled to
close
between Pleasantview Road and Kepler Road in Lower Pottsgrove Township,
Montgomery County, for base repair. During construction, Bleim Road
motorists
will be detoured over Pleasantview Road, Buchert Road and Kepler Road.

Local access will be maintained up to the construction zones for all
closures.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work
areas
because slowdowns will occur during construction. All scheduled activities
are
weather dependent.
