Stargazers Village to Restrict Strasburg Road, Romansville Road and
Shadyside Road for Roundabout Construction in Chester County

Stargazers Village is scheduled to restrict Strasburg Road, Romansville
Road
and Shadyside Road in West Bradford Township, Chester County, beginning
Monday,
August 28, through mid-September, from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM for roundabout
construction, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT)
announced
today.

The work schedule is:

• Lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Strasburg Road between
Stargazer Road and Sunset Drive;
• Romansville Road is scheduled to close between Lone Eagle Road and
Strasburg
Road. During construction, Romansville Road motorists will be detoured over

West Chester Road, Route 162 (Embreeville Road), Hazelwood Avenue and
Marshallton-Thorndale Road; and
• Shadyside Road is scheduled to close between Broad Run Road and Strasburg

Road. During construction, Shadyside Road motorists will be detoured over
Broad
Run Road and Leids Road.

Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone for all
closures.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
area
because slowdowns will occur during construction. All scheduled activities
are
weather dependent.

Stargazers Village will complete the work under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy

Permit.
