PECO to Close Brownsville Road Thursday for Tree Removal in Bucks County
King of Prussia, PA – PECO is planning to close Brownsville Road between Philadelphia Avenue and Central Avenue in Bensalem and Lower Southampton townships, Bucks County, on Thursday, July 26, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for tree removal operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
During the closure Brownsville Road motorists will be detoured over Old Street Road, Route 132 (Street Road), Route 213 (Bridgetown Pike) and Bristol Road.
Local access will be maintained up to construction zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area. The schedule is weather dependent.
PECO will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
