U.S. 1 (City Avenue) Travel Restriction Scheduled This Week for Roadwork in Philadelphia
King of Prussia, PA – Northbound U.S. 1 (City Avenue) will be reduced to one lane between Lapsley Lane and 54th Street in Philadelphia, on Wednesday, July 11, through Friday, July 13, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for roadwork, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work zone because slowdowns will occur. The schedule is dependent on the weather.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 860 traffic cameras.
511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional Twitter alerts accessible on the 511PA website.
