PECO to Restrict Route 340, Ship Road Next Week for Utility Improvements in Chester County

​King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning weekday lane restrictions with flagging on Route 340 (Kings Highway) in Caln Township and Ship Road in West Whiteland Township, Chester County onMonday, November 19, through Wednesday, November 21, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for gas line installations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work locations are:
  • Route 340 (Kings Highway) between Kingswood Lane and New Jersey Avenue; and
  • Ship Road between Stonegate Court and Lynetree Drive.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work areas. All scheduled activities are weather permitting.

PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
