Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission to Restrict Route 611 (Easton Road) Next Week for Sidewalk Reconstruction in Upper Moreland Township

​King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission is planning a right lane closure  on southbound Route 611 (Easton Road) between Maryland Drive and Wyandotte Road in Upper Moreland Township, Montgomery County, on Monday, December 3, through Friday, December 7, from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM, for sidewalk reconstruction, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because slowdowns will occur. The contractor's schedule is dependent on the weather.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles, including color-coded winter conditions on 2,900 miles, by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 860 traffic cameras.

511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional Twitter alerts accessible on the 511PA website.
