PennDOT - District 6 News: I-95, Woodhaven Road (Route 63) Overnight Lane Closures Scheduled for Guide Rail Repair in Philadelphia and Bucks Counties

I-95, Woodhaven Road (Route 63) Overnight Lane Closures Scheduled for Guide Rail Repair in Philadelphia and Bucks Counties

​King of Prussia, PA – Overnight lane closures are scheduled on Interstate 95 and Woodhaven Road (Route 63) in Philadelphia and Bucks Counties for guide rail repairs the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

  • Sunday, January 13, from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM, a left lane closure is scheduled in both directions on I-95 between the Interstate 76 East and Columbus Boulevard/Washington Avenue interchanges in Philadelphia;
  • Monday, January 14, and Tuesday, January 15, from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM, a left lane closure is scheduled in both directions on I-95 between the Allegheny Avenue/Castor Avenue and Cottman Avenue interchanges in Philadelphia; and
  • Wednesday, January 16, from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM, lane closures are scheduled on Woodhaven Road (Route 63) between U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) and Academy Road in Bensalem Township, Bucks County, and Philadelphia.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
