Hanover Street Weekday Lane Closures Scheduled for Sidewalk and Railroad Improvements in Chester and Montgomery Counties

​King of Prussia, PA – Motorists will encounter lane closures on Hanover Street between Queen Street and Schuylkill Avenue in North Coventry Township, Chester County and Pottstown Borough, Montgomery County beginning Monday, May 13, through Friday, June 14, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM for sidewalk and railroad improvements, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because slowdowns will occur. The contractor's schedule is dependent on the weather.

Road-Con, Inc of West Chester, Chester County, is the general contractor on the $13.3 million project to improve safety and traffic flow along key corridors in Pottstown Borough and Lower Pottsgrove Township, Montgomery County and North Coventry Township, Chester County.
