Northbound U.S. 202 Among Several State Highways Restricted Next Week for Tree Trimming Operations in Chester County

​King of Prussia, PA – Lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on several state highways in Chester County next week, including northbound U.S. 202, on Monday, August 12, through Friday, August 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for tree trimming operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work locations are:

  • U.S. 202 between Oakbourne Road and Pleasant Road in Westtown Township;
  • Route 52 (Lenape Road) between Tigue Road and Rosedale Avenue in East Bradford Township;
  • Lenape-Unionville Road between Northbrook Road and Lafayette Drive in Pocopson Township;
  • Barnsley Road between Media Road and Baltimore Pike in East Nottingham Township;
  • Baltimore Pike between Twin House Road and Waterway Road in East Nottingham Township;
  • Daleville Road between Hostetter Road and Fernwood Road in Londonderry Township; and
  • Elkdale Road between Baltimore Pike and Oxford Road in East Nottingham and Lower Oxford townships.

Saturday operations will also take place on northbound U.S. 202, Route 52 (Lenape Road), Lenape Unionville Road, Barnsley Road, Baltimore Pike.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
