Aqua Pennsylvania to Restrict Several State Highways in Chester and
Delaware Counties for Water Main Installations

Aqua Pennsylvania is planning weekday travel restrictions on Route 23
(Valley
Forge Road) in Chester County, and MacDade Boulevard and Calcon Hook Road
in
Delaware County, for water main replacements, the Pennsylvania Department
of
Transportation (PennDOT) today announced.
Weather permitting, the work schedule is:

•Monday, July 18, through Wednesday, July 27, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
weekday
lane restrictions are scheduled on Route 23 (Valley Forge Road) between
Valley
Road and Kleyona Avenue in Schuylkill Township, Chester County;
•Monday, July 18, through Friday, September 2, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
weekday
lane restrictions are scheduled on MacDade Boulevard between Kedron Avenue
and
Cedar Avenue in Ridley Township, Delaware County; and
•Thursday, July 28, through Friday, September 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
Calcon Hook Road is scheduled to close between Bonsall Avenue and Hook Road
in
Darby Township and Sharon Hill Borough, Delaware County. During this
weekday
closure, Calcon Hook motorists will be detoured over U.S. 13 (Chester
Pike),
Sharon Avenue and Hook Road.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these
areas.

Aqua Pennsylvania will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway
Occupancy Permit.
