Phoenixville Area School District to Close Route 29 in Schuylkill Township

The Phoenixville Area School District will close Route 29 (State Road)
between
Pothouse Road and Campbell Lane in Schuylkill Township, Chester County,
beginning Wednesday, July 20, for road widening and storm water
installation,
the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced.
Route
29 will be closed through Wednesday, August 3.

During construction, Route 29 through traffic will be detoured over
Pothouse
Road, Whitehorse Road, and Route 23 (Valley Forge Road). Local traffic will
be
maintained up to the construction zone. Motorists are advised to allow
extra
time when traveling through the area.

The Phoenixville Area School District will complete the work under a
PennDOT
Highway Occupancy Permit.

visiting
www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides
