Nighttime Lane Closures on I-76 in Montgomery County and I-95 in
Philadelphia for Bridge Repair

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced
that
nighttime lane restrictions are scheduled next week on Interstate 76 in
Montgomery County and Interstate 95 in Philadelphia and Market Street in
Philadelphia for bridge repairs.

The weather-dependent work schedule is:

• On Sunday, July 17, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM the next morning, one lane
will
be closed on westbound Interstate 76 at Interstate 476 in West Conshohocken

Borough, Montgomery County;
• On Monday, July 18 through Thursday, July 21, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM,
one
lane will be closed on northbound I-95 between the Walt Whitman Bridge and
Washington Avenue in Philadelphia; and
• On Wednesday, July 20, and Thursday, July 21, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM,
one
lane will be closed on southbound I-95 between Washington Avenue to the
Walt
Whitman Bridge.

These operations are part of PennDOT's program to repair bridge decks and
seal
joints on bridges in the Philadelphia region to help preserve and maintain
the
bridges.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by
visiting
www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides
traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and
access
to more than 770 traffic cameras.

511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and
Android
devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional Twitter alerts
accessible
on the 511PA website.
