The Snow Emergency in the Borough of West Chester is Still in Effect
Parking Availability During the Snow Emergency
All borough parking garages, except for the Justice Center garage will be available – free of charge throughout snow emergency. These free for use parking garages include the Chestnut Street Garage, Bicentennial Garage on High Street, New Street Garage, Sharpless Street Garage & Matlack Street Garage. Because WCU students are on break there will be additional available spaces in our garages located on Sharpless & New Streets.
Trash & Recycling
Due to the winter storm, Borough trash & recycling collections will not occur today. Residents on the regular Tuesday collection route will receive these services on Wednesday instead. All other collection days will be delayed by one day for the remainder of the week.
Update – 3/14/17 @ 6:10AM – The Borough Offices are closed today due to the weather and will resume normal hours tomorrow.
Our Public Works department will be working throughout the snow event to clear the streets & roadways.
