Aqua Pennsylvania to Restrict Several State Highways for Utility
Improvements in Philadelphia Region

Aqua Pennsylvania is planning weekday lane restrictions on several state
highways in the Philadelphia region for water main improvements, the
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced.

Weather permitting, the work schedule is:

• Monday, June 12, through Friday, July 7, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, weekday

lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Wynnewood Road between
County
Line Road and Ballytore Road in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County;
• Monday, June 12, through Friday, July 21, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
weekday
lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Baltimore Pike between
Route
320 (Sproul Road) and Thomson Road in Springfield Township, Delaware
County;
• Monday, June 19, through late September, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Goshen
Road
is scheduled to close weekdays between Route 252 (Newtown Street Road) and
Butler Drive in Newtown Township, Delaware County. During the weekday
closure,
Goshen Road motorists will be detoured over Route 252 (Newtown Street
Road),
Route 3 (West Chester Pike), Bryn Mawr Avenue and Darby Paoli Road; and
• Wednesday, June 14, through Friday, July 14, weekday lane restrictions
are
scheduled on Route 52 (Price Street) between New Street and Darlington Road
in
West Chester Borough, Chester County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work

areas.

Aqua Pennsylvania and PECO Energy will complete these projects under a
PennDOT
Highway Occupancy Permit.
