I-95, I-476, U.S. 322, Route 63 and I-76 Lane Closures Scheduled for Guide Rail and Barrier Repair in Philadelphia and Delaware Counties

I-95, I-476, U.S. 322, Route 63 and I-76 Lane Closures Scheduled for Guide
Rail and Barrier Repair in Philadelphia and Delaware Counties

Lane closures are scheduled next week on Interstate 95, Interstate 476,
U.S.
322 (Conchester Highway), Route 63 (Woodhaven Road) and Interstate 76 in
Delaware and Philadelphia counties, for guide rail and barrier repair
operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT)
announced
today.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, June 19, from 10:00 PM to 1:00 AM, the right lane is scheduled to

close on northbound I-95 between the Ridley Park and the Essington/Prospect

Park interchanges in Tinicum Township, Delaware County, for barrier
replacement;

• Tuesday, June 20, from 10:00 PM to 12:00 AM, the right lane is scheduled
to
close on northbound I-95 between the Kerlin Street and Route 352 (Edgmont
Avenue) interchanges in the City of Chester and Upland Township, for guide
rail
repair;

• Tuesday, June 20, from 1:00 AM to 5:00 AM, the left lane is scheduled to
close in both directions on I-95 between the Cottman Avenue (Route 73) and
Academy Road interchanges in Philadelphia, for median concrete barrier
replacement;

• Wednesday, June 21, from 12:00 AM to 2:00 AM, the left lane is scheduled
to
close on northbound I-95 between the I-476 and Ridley Park interchanges in
Ridley Borough, for guide rail repair;

• Wednesday, June 21, from 2:00 AM to 5:00 AM, the left lane is scheduled
to
close on northbound I-476 between the U.S. 1 Media Bypass and Route 3 (West

Chester Pike) interchanges in Marple Township, for guide rail repair;

• Wednesday, June 21, from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM the next morning, the left
lane
is scheduled to close in both directions on I-95 between the Ridley Park
and
the Essington/Prospect Park interchanges in Tinicum Township, Delaware
County,
for median concrete barrier replacement;

• Thursday, June 22, from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM the next morning, the left
lane
is scheduled to close in both directions on U.S. 322 (Conchester Highway)
between the I-95 and Route 452 (Market Street/Pennell Road) interchanges in

Upper Chichester Township, for median concrete barrier replacement;

• Thursday, June 22, from 10:00 PM to 12:00 AM, the left lane is scheduled
to
close in both directions on Route 63 (Woodhaven Road) between the Millbrook

Road and Knights Road interchanges in Philadelphia, for guide rail repair;
and

• Friday, June 23, from 12:00 AM to 5:00 AM, a lane closure is scheduled on
the
westbound I-76 ramp to northbound U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard) in
Philadelphia,
for guide rail repair.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these
areas.
The schedule is weather dependent.
