Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week on Several State Highways for Tree
Removal Operations in the Philadelphia Region

Travel restrictions are scheduled next week on several state highways in
the
Philadelphia region for tree removal operations, the Pennsylvania
Department of
Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, June 12, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions with flagging
are
scheduled on Allentown Road between Trolley Bridge Road and Grant Road in
Milford Township, Bucks County;
• Monday, June 12, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions with flagging
are
scheduled on Hollow Road between Flowing Springs Road and Pughtown Road in
West
Vincent Township, Chester County;
• Monday, June 12, through Wednesday, June 14, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Route 162 (Embreeville Road)
between Stargazer Road and Route 842 (Newark Road) in Newlin Township,
Chester
County;
• Monday, June 12, through Friday, June 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Route 32 (River Road) at Mt.
Eyre
Road in Upper Makefield Township, Bucks County;
• Tuesday, June 13, through Friday, June 16, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Sawmill Road between Old
Bethlehem
Road and Deerwood Lane in Haycock Township, Bucks County;
• Wednesday, June 14, and Thursday, June 15, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions are scheduled on northbound U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) at Route
352
(Edgmont Road) in Middletown Township, Delaware County; and
• Thursday, June 15, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are
scheduled
on U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) between Fairview Road and Sunny Ridge Lane in
Pennsbury Township, Chester County.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas.
All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
