Overnight Lane Closures Scheduled on Route 291 (Penrose Avenue) Next Week
for Sign Repairs in Philadelphia

6/23/2017-KING OF PRUSSIA

Overnight lane closures are scheduled on Route 291 (Penrose Avenue) next
week
for sign repair operations in Philadelphia, the Pennsylvania Department of
Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Wednesday, June 28, from 10:00 PM to 11:59 PM, the right lane is
scheduled to
close on eastbound Route 291 (Penrose Avenue) between Interstate 95 and the

George C. Platt Bridge;
• Thursday, June 29, from 12:00 AM to 2:00 AM, the left lane is scheduled
to
close on eastbound Route 291 (Penrose Avenue) between I-95 and the George
C.
Platt Bridge;
• Thursday, June 29, from 2:00 AM to 4:00 AM, the right lane is scheduled
to
close on westbound Route 291 (Penrose Avenue) between the George C. Platt
Bridge and I-95; and
• Thursday, June 29, from 4:00 AM to 6:00 AM, the left lane is scheduled to

close on westbound Route 291 (Penrose Avenue) between the George C. Platt
Bridge and I-95.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas.
All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
