Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week on Several State Highways for
Maintenance Operations in the Philadelphia Region

Travel restrictions are scheduled next week on several state highways in
the
Philadelphia region for maintenance operations, the Pennsylvania Department
of
Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Saturday, June 17, from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Old Bethlehem Road is
scheduled
to close between Ridge Road and Elephant Road in East Rockhill Township,
Bucks
County, for a pipe replacement. During construction, Old Bethlehem Road
motorists will be detoured over Elephant Road and Ridge Road;
• Monday, June 19, from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Blair Mill Road is scheduled to

close between County Line Road and Route 611 (Easton Road) in Horsham and
Upper
Moreland townships, Montgomery County, for base repairs. During
construction,
Blair Mill Road motorists will be detoured over Mill Road, Route 611
(Easton
Road), Route 263 (York Road), and County Line Road;
• Monday, June 19, through Thursday, June 22, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the
right lane is scheduled to close on southbound Route 100 (Pottstown Pike)
between King Street and U.S. 422 in Pottstown Borough and Upper Pottsgrove
Township, Montgomery County, for shoulder stabilization;
• Monday, June 19, through Thursday, June 22, from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM,
Blair
Mill Road is scheduled to close between Route 63 (Welsh Road) and Route 611

(Easton Road) in Horsham and Upper Moreland townships, Montgomery County,
for
base repairs. During construction, Blair Mill Road motorists will be
detoured
over Fitzwatertown Road, Route 611 (Easton Road), and Route 63 (Welsh
Road);
• Monday, June 19, through Friday, June 23, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled in both directions on Baltimore
Pike
between Scotts Lane and Grist Mill Lane in Upper Oxford, Lower Oxford and
Penn
townships, Chester County, for base repairs; and
• Wednesday, June 21, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled
in
both directions on U.S. 322 between U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) and Interstate
95
in Concord, Bethel and Upper Chichester townships, Delaware County, for
maintenance operations.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas.
All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
