Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week on Route 291 (Penrose Avenue) and
I-76 for Sign Repairs in Philadelphia

6/29/2017-KING OF PRUSSIA

Motorists will encounter travel restrictions next week on Route 291
(Penrose
Avenue) and Interstate 76 in Philadelphia for sign structure repair
operations,
the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Wednesday, July 5, from 10:00 PM to 5:30 AM the following morning, lane
closures are scheduled on Route 291 (Penrose Avenue) between Interstate 95
and
River Bank Road; and
• Thursday, July 6, and Friday, July 7, from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM the
following
morning, lane closures are scheduled on I-76 near the Girard Avenue
Interchange.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas.
All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
