Lane Restrictions Scheduled on U.S. 1 South for Maintenance Operations in
Upper Providence Township, Delaware County

Intermittent left lane closures are scheduled on southbound U.S. 1 between
the
Baltimore Pike and Route 252 (Media/Newtown Square) interchanges in Upper
Providence Township, Delaware County, beginning Monday, August 7, through
Friday, August 11, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for base repair, the
Pennsylvania
Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area

because slowdowns will occur during construction. The schedule is weather
dependent.
