Aqua Pennsylvania to Restrict Several State Highways Weekdays for Utility
Improvements in Delaware County

Aqua Pennsylvania is planning weekday travel restrictions on several state
highways in Delaware County for water main installation, the Pennsylvania
Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, November 20, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions with
flagging
are scheduled on MacDade Boulevard between Dalmas Avenue and Werner Avenue
in
Glenolden Borough. The work is expected to be completed late December;
• Monday, November 20, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Oak Avenue is scheduled to
close between Baltimore Pike and Providence Road in Aldan and Clifton
Heights
boroughs. The work is expected to be completed in late December. During
construction, Oak Avenue motorists will be detoured over Baltimore Pike,
Bishop
Avenue and Providence Road; and
• Monday, November 20, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Garrett Road is scheduled
to
close between Lansdowne Avenue and Route 3 (West Chester Pike) in Upper
Darby
Township. The work is expected to be completed late December. During
construction, Garrett Road motorists will be detoured over Lansdowne
Avenue,
State Road, Route 3 (West Chester Pike), Bywood Avenue and Fairfield
Avenue.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work
areas.
All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Aqua Pennsylvania will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway
Occupancy Permit.
