Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week on Northbound U.S. 1 (Lincoln
Highway) for Large Sign Maintenance in Bucks County

Motorists will encounter lane closures next week on northbound U.S. 1
(Lincoln
Highway) between the Route 132 (Street Road) and Pennsylvania Avenue
interchanges in Bensalem and Morrisville townships, Bucks County, on
Monday,
November 13, through Friday, November 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for
large
sign maintenance, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT)
announced today.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
area.
The schedule is weather dependent.

Under this improvement project, PennDOT is replacing and repairing large
sign
structures throughout Bucks, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties.

Work on the entire project is expected to be completed in December.

J. Fletcher Creamer & Son, Inc., of Hackensack, New Jersey is the general
contractor on the $644,888 project, which is financed with 100 percent
state
funds.
