Daytime Lane Restrictions Scheduled for Resurfacing Operations in
Montgomery County

Daytime lane restrictions are scheduled next week on a pair of state
highways
in Montgomery County for resurfacing operations, the Pennsylvania
Department of
Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Sunday, November 19, through Tuesday, November 21, from 9:00 AM to 3:00
PM,
lane restrictions are scheduled on Main Street/Linfield Road between the
Chester County line and Lewis Road in Limerick Township, for paving; and
• Monday, November 20, and Tuesday, November 21, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
lane
restrictions are scheduled on North Wales Road between Cardinal Way and
Pennsylvania Avenue in Upper Gwynedd Township and North Wales Borough, for
resurfacing operations.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
zones
because slowdowns may occur during construction. The contractor's schedule
is
dependent on the weather.

Under this improvement project, PennDOT is milling the existing roadway
surface
and repaving the state highway with new asphalt. The new pavement will seal
the
roadway and provide motorists with a smoother riding surface.

Allan A. Myers, LP, of Worcester, Montgomery County, is the general
contractor
on the project.
