PennDOT to Host Open House Meeting for U.S. 322 Improvement Project in
Bethel and Upper Chichester Townships

11/30/2017-KING OF PRUSSIA

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will hold an open
house
project update meeting on Wednesday, December 13, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
in
the Upper Chichester Township Field House at 8500 Furey Road for the
upcoming
U.S. 322 Improvement Project in Bethel and Upper Chichester townships,
Delaware

The project involves widening and reconstruction of the eastern section of
U.S.
322 from Clayton Park to just east of Route 452 (Market Street).

The purpose of the meeting is to present the public with progress plans and

status update on the improvement project. The meeting will be conducted as
an
open-house plans display where citizens will have the opportunity to
circulate
among the subject displays to gather information and discuss the different
facets of the project with PennDOT's design team.

Construction bids on this project are expected to be opened in late 2019.
