Route 162 (Embreeville Road) to Close Next Week for Pipe Installation in
Newlin Township, Chester County

Route 162 (Embreeville Road) is scheduled to close next week between
Brandywine
Drive and Stargazer Road in Newlin Township, Chester County on Thursday,
November 16, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM for pipe installation, the
Pennsylvania
Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

During construction, Embreeville Road motorists will be detoured over
Strasburg
Road and Stargazer Road.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area

because slowdowns will occur during construction. The schedule is weather
dependent.
