Aqua Pennsylvania to Restrict Several State Highways Including U.S. 30
(Lancaster Avenue) Next Week for Utility Improvements

Aqua Pennsylvania is planning travel restrictions on several state highways
in
Chester and Delaware counties next week, including U.S. 30 (Lancaster
Avenue),
for water main installation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation
(PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, March 19, through Wednesday, March 21, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a

lane closure is scheduled on westbound U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) between
Malin
Road and Route 401 (Conestoga Road) in East Whiteland Township, Chester
County;
• Monday, March 19, through Friday, March 23, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane

restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Route 352 (Middletown Road) at
High
Meadow Drive in Middletown Township, Delaware County; and
• Monday, March 19, through Friday, March 23, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane

restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Oak Avenue at Rively Avenue in
Darby Township and Aldan Borough, Delaware County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Aqua Pennsylvania will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway
Occupancy Permit.
