I-95 Overnight Lane Closures Scheduled Next Week for Sign Maintenance in
Delaware County

Overnight lane closures are scheduled on northbound and southbound
Interstate
95 between the Route 491 (Naamans Road) and Bartram Avenue interchanges in
Lower Chichester, Upper Chichester, Tinicum and Ridley townships, Upland
Borough and the City of Chester, Delaware County, on Monday, March 26,
through
Friday, March 30, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, for sign
maintenance, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT)
announced
today.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time on I-95 when traveling through the
work
area. The contractor's schedule is weather dependent.

Under this regional improvement project, PennDOT is repairing large sign
structures in Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties. The project is
expected to be completed in May 2018.

Carr & Duff Inc., of Huntingdon Valley, Montgomery County, is the general
contractor on the $2,122,200 project, which is financed with 100 percent
federal funds.
