Rock Raymond Road Lane Closures Next Week for High-Friction Resurfacing in
East Brandywine Township, Chester County

3/28/2018-KING OF PRUSSIA

Lane closures are scheduled on Rock Raymond Road between Dowlin Forge Road
and
Hilltop Drive in East Brandywine Township, Chester County, on Tuesday,
April 3,
through Friday, April 6, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for high-friction
resurfacing
operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT)
announced
today.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
area.
The contractor's schedule is weather dependent.

The work is part of a $4.8 million resurfacing project to improve travel
and
safety on 25 state highways in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and
Philadelphia counties, by installing a high-friction surface treatment to
provide increased friction and grip on pavements in wet and dry conditions.

J.D. Eckman, Inc. of Atglen, Chester County, is the general contractor on
the
project, which is financed with 80 percent federal and 20 percent state
funds.
