U.S. 1, I-76 and Route 63 (Woodhaven Road) Lane Closures This Week for ITS
Installations in Philadelphia and Bucks County

Motorists will encounter daytime and overnight lane closures this week on
U.S.
1 (Roosevelt Boulevard), Route 63 (Woodhaven Road) and Interstate 76 in
Philadelphia and Bucks counties, for activities related to installation of
Intelligent Transportation Systems, the Pennsylvania Department of
Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, March 12, through Friday, March 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a
single
lane and shoulder closure is scheduled in both directions on U.S. 1
(Roosevelt
Boulevard) between Comly Road and Old Trevose Road in Philadelphia and
Bensalem
Township, Bucks County;
• Monday, March 12, through Friday, March 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a
single
lane closure is scheduled on eastbound Route 63 (Woodhaven Road) between
the
Knights Road and U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) interchanges in Philadelphia and
Bensalem Township, Bucks County; and
• Wednesday, March 14, from 10:00 PM until 5:00 AM the next morning, a
single
lane closure is scheduled on westbound I-76 between the City Avenue (U.S.
1)
and Belmont Avenue/Green Lane interchanges in Philadelphia.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling on these highways
through the work zones because slowdowns will occur. All scheduled
activities
are weather dependent.
