U.S. 1 South Lane Closure Scheduled for Utility Improvements in West
Nottingham Township, Chester County

3/9/2018-KING OF PRUSSIA

Chester County Water Authority is planning a left lane closure on
southbound
U.S. 1 that will prevent motorists from turning left onto Ridge Road in
West
Nottingham Township, Chester County, from 7:00 AM Monday, March 19, through

5:00 PM Friday, March 23, for utility improvements, the Pennsylvania
Department
of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today. During the closure, southbound

U.S. 1 motorists will be directed to continue on U.S. 1, turn left onto
Sylmar
Road, turn left onto State Line Road and turn left onto Stoney Lane to
access
Ridge Road.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area

because slowdowns will occur during construction. The schedule is weather
dependent.

Chester County Water Authority will complete this project under a PennDOT
Highway Occupancy Permit.
