Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week for Tree Trimming Operations in the
Philadelphia Region

Travel restrictions are scheduled next week on several state highways for
tree
removal operations in the Philadelphia region, the Pennsylvania Department
of
Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, March 26, from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, lane restrictions with
flagging
are scheduled on Morris Road between Mill Spring Drive and Sheaff Lane in
Whitemarsh Township, Montgomery County;
• Monday, March 26, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions with
flagging
are scheduled on Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) between Fairview Road and
Timber
Drive in East Nantmeal Township, Chester County;
• Monday, March 26, through Friday, March 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a
right
lane closure is scheduled on southbound Interstate 476 between the U.S. 1
and
Media/Swarthmore interchanges in Marple, Springfield and Nether Providence
townships, Delaware County;
• Monday, March 26, through Friday, March 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane

restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Trenton Road between Woodbourne

Road and Route 413 (Veterans Highway) in Middletown Township, Bucks County;
• Monday, March 26, through Friday, March 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane

restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Railroad Avenue between Barry
Road
and Walter Road in New Britain Township, Bucks County;
• Tuesday, March 27, from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, lane restrictions with
flagging
are scheduled on Argyle Road at Sussex Road in Lower Merion Township,
Montgomery County;
• Tuesday, March 27, through Friday, March 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Route 472 (Hickory Hill Road)
between Elk Creek Road and Oxford Road in East Nottingham Township, Chester

County; and
• Wednesday, March 28, through Saturday, March 31, from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM,

lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Stump Hall Road between
Route
363 (Valley Forge Road) and Route 73 (Skippack Pike) in Worcester and
Skippack
townships, Montgomery County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas
because slowdowns will occur during construction. All scheduled activities
are
weather dependent.
