PennDOT to Repair Potholes Next Week on More Than 40 State Highways in the
Philadelphia Region

PennDOT maintenance and contractor crews will be working on more than 40
state
highways next week to repair deteriorated pavement across the five-county
Philadelphia region.

In addition to the roads listed below, crews will be performing patching
operations on Route 401 (Conestoga Road) in West Pikeland Township,
Hibernia
Road in West Caln Township, and Reeceville Road in East Brandywine
Township,
Chester County, on Saturday, March 31, from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

The full list of roadways includes:

Bucks County

• U.S. 1 in Bensalem, Middletown, Lower Makefield and Falls townships and
Morrisville Borough;
• Business U.S. 1 in Middletown and Falls townships;
• Route 32 (Bridge Street) in Morrisville Borough;
• Route 332 (Newtown-Richboro Road) in Newtown and Northampton townships;
• Route 413 (Durham Road) in Buckingham Township;
• Route 413 (Newtown-Langhorne Road/Pine Street) in Middletown Township;
• Route 611 (Easton Road) in Nockamixon Township;
• Ferry Road in Plumstead Township;
• Hilltown Pike in Hilltown Township;
• Wismer Road in Plumstead Township;
• Callowhill Road in New Britain Township;
• Trumbauersville Road in Trumbauersville Borough; and
• Oxford Valley Road in Lower Makefield Township.

Chester County

• U.S. 1 (Kennett Oxford Bypass) in London Grove Township;
• U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) in Kennett and Pennsbury townships;
• U.S. 30 (Coatesville/Downingtown Bypass) in Valley, West Brandywine,
Caln,
East Caln, and West Whiteland townships;
• U.S. 322 in West Goshen Township;
• Route 3 (West Chester Pike) in Westtown and East Goshen townships;
• Route 23 (Ridge Road) in East Coventry and East Vincent townships;
• Route 82 (Manor Road) in West Brandywine Township;
• Route 401 (Conestoga Road) in West Pikeland Township;
• Route 896 (New London Road) in Franklin Township;
• Hibernia Road in West Caln Township;

Montgomery County

• Route 29 (Gravel Pike) in Lower Frederick and Upper Frederick townships,
and
Schwenksville Borough;
• Route 73 (Big Road/Skippack Pike) in Skippack Township;
• Route 309 (Bethlehem Pike) in Montgomery and Upper Dublin townships;
• Route 363 (Valley Forge Road) Worcester Township;
• Route 463 (Horsham Road) in Montgomery Township;
• Route 663 (Charlotte Street) in New Hanover Township and Pottstown
Borough;
• Spring Mill Road in Lower Merion Township;
• Bethel Road in Worcester Township;
• Farmington Avenue in Upper Pottsgrove Township; and
• Ridge Pike in Collegeville Borough.

Philadelphia

• State Road;
• Knights Road; and
• Academy Road.

Crews will restrict travel lanes on these state highways to patch areas of
deteriorating pavement. Motorists are advised to be alert of this moving
operation and to expect intermittent lane closures and possible slowdowns
when
driving near work crews. All activities are weather dependent.
